The economic crisis hit this sector hard, forced many small-scale business enterprises to close down, and became a hard test for large-scale businesses. The economic crisis caused us to suffer serious concerns in February 2009, but Ege Profil A.Ş. achieved to obtain positive results as of the end of the year. A review of Ege Profil A.Ş.’s history indicates that its periods of growth have always coincided with periods of economic crisis. The reasons of this success are our strong vision, good crisis management, and the strong ties between this company, its employees and its dealers. |
| In spite of the economic crisis, 2009 saw Ege Profil A.Ş. obtain some major certificates and win some important awards. The first award was the Plastic Industry Star 2009 given by the Research, Development and Training Foundation of Turkish Plastic Industrialists (PAGEV). |
| Assessment Committee of Health Quality Association issued a certificate to this company to approve that our products can be safely used in all special facilities including hospitals. It was an honor for us to become the first company awarded of said certificate in this industry. |
| R&D activities are continued at full speed for all the product ranges of our brands so that we are able to offer innovations to the consumers on a continuous basis. CE certificate is now an obligation under the law so that we provide our dealers with support to obtain said certificate as soon as possible. |
| Egepen Deceuninck addresses all segments of customers thanks to its wide network of dealers and its wide range of products. Our expertise in developing solutions for details and the experience we gained over the years ensure us to distinguish from the competitors. |
| Our Winsa brand is known to have raised the quality stake at all times, is considered one of the leading companies in this industry, and enlarged its market share. |
| As to composite products market, our Twinson brand of coating products for outdoor surfaces and floors grew in 2009 while the newly introduced Twinson Terrace Plus proved its superiority over the similar products of the competitors to be distinguished as the true master of this market. |
| The Inoutic brand of products we import have become a sought-after brand for certain projects so that its sales volume increased in last year. |
| We shall give priority to achieve success in 2010 through our customer-oriented approach and team spirit under the total quality principle adopted by Ege Profil A.Ş. Furthermore, we shall continue to lead this industry through our four brands in the years to come. |
