Ege Profil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. won the contest organized by the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO) to rise businesses’ awareness of the environment as one of the most important issues of this age, to ensure the environment to remain as a hot issue at all times, and to award and encourage the most successful contributions to the protection of the environment.

Environment Committee of the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry, consisting of three academicians and two industrialists, concluded that Ege Profil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Þ. deserved to win this award thanks to the environment-friendly processes it uses for all of its production stages, its saving of raw materials and supplementary materials, its policy to shift to environment-friendly materials, the recycling methods it employs for its wastes, and the measures it has taken using modern technology to reduce pollution.

The award was received by Ethem Gökmen, Operations Manager of Egepen Deceuninck, for Ege Profil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. Gökmen said “Ege Profil A.S. gives priority to implement environment-friendly processes at all stages from production to distribution with utmost care. Winning this award is an honor for us, and a drive for developing further measures to protect the environment.”
